Free movie nights at the American Exchange Hotel
The American Exchange Hotel presents free movie nights every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, starting at 6:30 p.m. The hotel will show classic movies on a 12-foot screen in the banquet room. "Double Indemnity," with Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck, will be shown Aug. 25. "African Queen," starring Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn, will be shown Sept. 8. The American Exchange Hotel is at 53 Main St. in Sutter Creek. Call 267-0242 for information.
